We are happy to announce the winner of the Choose your French Premium contest – the Leclerc T40, submitted by Apuk!
The Leclerc T40 is a French attempt to build a heavy fire support vehicle comparable to the Russian Terminator. It combines the T40 turret with modified Leclerc chassis, making it quite unique amongst the western military vehicles. In Armored Warfare, the gameplay of this vehicle will resemble that of a Terminator – a heavy missile-based Tank Destroyer with an autocannon to take care of lighter opponents.
In the near future, we will be taking a closer a look at this interesting vehicle but, for now, congratulations go to Apuk who will be the first person in the game to receive this Premium vehicle as a prize for submitting the winning proposal. The voting was a close call with the Leclerc winning over the AMX-13 Escorpion-2 by roughly two dozen votes.
