Game Mechanisms and Bugs

  • Fixed objective timers showing up when they should not be in PvE
  • Achievements, awards and strings fixed and updated
  • Fixed shot impact sound
  • Fixed an issue where player titles could not get updated on the client when an achievement was given
  • Designate Target AFV ability: If you are the active spotter of a target you are trying to designate, that target will be considered in range
  • Implemented protection against death for the player during the tutorial
  • Fixed the M551 suspension model
  • Fixed the extremely rare bug where under certain circumstances the players suddenly found themselves having extremely high negative number of credits
  • Fixed the issue where Armored Warfare did not start on 32bit systems

  • Fixed the issue where M113 was missing from the garage

Taifun II Rebalance

  • The Taifun II was incorrectly set to Tier 5 rather than Tier 6. This has been corrected and the stats have been significantly adjusted. Stats were adjusted to Tier 6 values and the damage increased by 13%

Object 155 Rebalance

Our recent tests have shown that the Object 155 doesn't measure up compared to other same-tier MBTs. We've given it moderate boost to its targeting time and rate of fire, which we feel will help make it excel as a close and mid-range brawler.

  • Reload time reduced from 8 seconds to 6.96 seconds
  • Targeting Time decreased from 3.9 seconds to 3.0 seconds

PT-76 Rebalance

The PT-76 is doing well in terms of average damage dealt per match, but slightly low in terms of rewards and win rate. As such, we've given it some minor stat buffs to help bring up its rewards and improve its gameplay without directly increasing its damage per minute.

  • Camouflage factor increased from 0.158 to 0.175
  • Hit Points increased from 800 to 840
  • Penetration for most AP and SC rounds increased by about 10%

BMD-4 Rebalance

Most of the BMD line is now performing up to par, but the BMD-4 isnt quite competitive yet. It's low on average rewards, win rate, and especially average damage per match. We've given it some considerable buffs to firepower to help make it more competitive.

  • 100mm Cannon damage increased by 15%
  • 100mm Cannon targeting time decreased from 2.9 seconds to 2.5 seconds
  • Autocannon damage increased by 10%
  • Autocannon salvo reload time decreased from 9 seconds to 7.5 seconds
  • Stock ATGM damage increased by 10%
  • Upgraded ATGM damage increased by 15%

Gvosdika Rebalance

SPGs are generally performing lower than other vehicles of the same tier in terms of both match rewards and performance. Performance wise, we're making some improvements to the vehicles that are suffering the most. In terms of rewards, the performance improvements will help, but we're planning on some larger scale changes to SPG rewards to make sure they are adequately compensated compared to other classes. The Gvosdika has been underperforming compared to other vehicles of the same tier, including the M109. We believe a large component of this is due to its lack of accuracy. We've improved its accuracy and aim time, as well as giving it a minor reduction to cooldown between shots to make playing it smoother.

  • Targeting Time decreased from 5.5 seconds to 4.5 seconds
  • Optimum accuracy size decreased from 0.182 to 0.152
  • Largest accuracy size decreased from 2.91 to 2.43
  • Cooldown per shot reduced from 13.33 seconds to 12.12 seconds

Akatsiya and Palmaria Rebalance

Akatsiya and Palmaria are performing about the same as each other, but low compared to other vehicles of the same tier. We're giving them both different buffs to help distinguish them from each other, as well as to improve both of them.

  • Akatisya salvo reload decreased from 22 seconds to 20 seconds
  • Akatsiya damage for all rounds increased by about 6%
  • Palmaria Targeting Time decreased from 6.5 seconds to 5.5 seconds
  • Palmaria Optimum accuracy size decreased from 0.187 to 0.16
  • Palmaria Largest accuracy size decreased from 3 to 2.56

PzH 2000 Rebalance

The PzH2000 is doing pretty well, but it's still noticeably behind the M109A6 in performance. We've given it some moderate buffs to get it to a more comparable performance range.

  • Salvo reload time decreased from 24.6 seconds to 20 seconds
  • Targeting Time decreased from 5.5 seconds to 5 seconds

BMP Line Rebalance

The BMP Line - with the exception of the BMPT - is still performing below par. As such, we're making some adjustments to improve the vehicles in the line, especially the ones that are suffering the most. Changes for BMP-1:

  • Targeting Time decreased from 3.2 seconds to 2.8 seconds.
  • Optimum Accuracy size decreased from 0.145 to 0.131
  • Maximum Accuracy reticule size decreased from 1.75 to 1.57

Changes for BMP-1P:

  • Cannon Targeting Time decreased from 3.2 seconds to 2.8 seconds
  • Cannon Optimum Accuracy size decreased from 0.138 to 0.125
  • Cannon Maximum Accuracy reticule size decreased from 1.66 to 1.5

Changes for BMP-2:

  • Autocannon Targeting Time decreased from 2.7 seconds to 2.4 seconds
  • Autocannon salvo reload time decreased from 9 seconds to 7.5 seconds

Changes for BMP-3:

  • 100mm Cannon damage increased by 10%
  • 100mm Cannon targeting time decreased from 3.4 seconds to 2.9 seconds
  • Autocannon damage increased by 5%
  • Autocannon Targeting Time decreased from 2.7 seconds to 2.4 seconds
  • Autocannon salvo reload time decreased from 9 seconds to 7.5 seconds
  • Stock ATGM damage increased by 5%
  • Fully upgraded ATGM damage increased by 10%

Changes for BMP-3M:

  • 100mm Cannon damage increased by about 10%
  • 100mm Cannon targeting time decreased from 3.4 seconds to 2.9 seconds

What is Public Test Server and how to join

Public Test Server is a special server running the newest version of the game. Its goal is to provide the players with the option to test the newest game build, although such builds often have more issues and bugs than the live server. It is now available for every player with Early Access without any restrictions. The main features of Public Test Server (compared to the Early Access server) are:

  • The progression is significantly faster in order for players to unlock the vehicles for testing
  • Tier 1-4 vehicles are awarded for free to every player
  • The server runs the latest version that can however contain more bugs than the live Early Access version
  • It is active only during certain hours (currently 8PM - 8AM CEST, 12PM-12AM PDT)

To join Public Test Server, please follow these easy steps:

  • Open the My.com launcher (available in the download section)
  • On the upper bar, select "Game Directory"
  • From the My.com games menu, select "Armored Warfare Public Test Server"
  • Download the PTS client (unfortunately a necessary step due to the fact the Early Access and the PTS servers are not running the same version of the game)
