“Bounty Hunt” Contest

Welcome to the Bounty Hunt contest, where you’ll be rewarded for making our lives miserable…in a fun way! Have you ever seen a My.com or Obsidian employee in-game, and thought “boy, it would be really fun to blow them up!” Maybe you’ve even destroyed some of us before, but you felt like it wasn’t quite as rewarding as it could have been?

Don’t worry because you’ll have another chance! Between December 8th and December 11th, 2015, Obsidian & My.com employees will be playing random PvP matches every day during certain hours (see the schedule below). We’ll announce that we’re in-game, and the players (on the other team!) who manage to take us down will be rewarded with some cool MERC tanks from our Black Friday MERC collection!

Look for us in-game during the following times:

North American Server:

• 12/8/15 – 5:30-6:30pm PST (8:30-9:30pm EST)
• 12/9/15 – 6:30-7:30pm PST (9:30-10:30pm EST)
• 12/10/15 – 7:30-8:30pm PST (10:30-11:30pm EST)
• 12/11/15 – 7:30-8:30pm PST (10:30-11:30pm EST)
• Daily from 11pm-12am PST (2-3am EST) (for our Asian and Oceanic friends!)

European Server:

• 8.12.2015 – 5-6pm CET
• 9.12.2015 – 6-7pm CET
• 10.12.2015 – 7-8pm CET
• 11.12.2015 – 8-9pm CET

During each day, we’ll be focusing on a specific tier, so it’ll be easier to find us. That schedule is as follows:

• Tuesday: Tier 5
• Wednesday: Tier 6
• Thursday: Tier 7
• Friday: Tier 8

So, who do you have to find? Only players in the MyCom & OEI Battalions on the NA & EU Servers. Those of us participating in the event will announce the following in-game:

“I’m a My.com/Obsidian employee and have a bounty on my head! Destroy me and you’ll win a prize!”

We’ll also be doing a server wide announcement at the beginning of each session announcing that we’re on the server!

So, what do you win for blowing us up? Like we said before, you’ll be able to win the MERC tanks. Here’s what’s up for grabs:

• Tuesday: AMX-10P 90 MERC (Tier 4 Tank Destroyer)
• Wednesday: Zhalo-S MERC (Tier 4 Tank Destroyer)
• Thursday: MBT-70 MERC (Tier 6 Main Battle Tank)
• Friday: VFM 5 MERC (Tier 6 Light Tank)

The rules of the contest are very simple:

• Team-Killing will not win you a prize, unless you count a ban and contest disqualification!
• You can win as many prizes as you are able to! However, you'll get different prizes based on how often you've won:
• If you already have the MERC tank for the day on which you win a prize, you will receive the regular premium vehicle instead. If you already have both vehicles, you will receive the amount of credits you would receive for selling a premium vehicle.
• You don’t need to make a note of who you destroyed (although it doesn’t hurt); we’ll keep track.
